Your Mission

• Coding! Developing the backend of our software backbone from scratch, with a particular focus on integrating our assets and sensors
• Testing - both software and mission functionality and reliability
• Help improve our Rust and C++ development environment
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovations to improve our products and processes
• Deep dive the issues to identify, understand, and solve difficult technical problems.
• Constantly be challenging requirements to determine what adds value and what is not.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Good proficiency in Rust and C++ development
• Knowledge of autopilot, flight control systems or anything similar is a great bonus
• Relevant industry experience in Automotive, sensors, aerospace, or where real world devices are connected to your software
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with a strong drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ability to travel as needed to the Devon / Dorset area
• Must be eligible for UK Security clearance
