Alternatives is a flagship revenue growth initiative for the firm & Wealth Management. There has been exponential growth in Alternatives investing in recent years, and the industry is evolving rapidly.
The PWM Alternatives Engineering team is currently driving initiatives that enable platform scalability and flexibility needed for expanding our Alternatives offerings to PWM clients. These include expanding to new open-ended alternative funds, building flexibility for evolving industry trends like hybrid funds, and enabling open architecture access to non-GS alternative funds. The engineering team is integral to building out this platform.
This application is a full-stack Alternatives trading platform, designed for scale, built using the latest strategic technology solutions, and deployed to support Advisor & Alternative Capital Market teams worldwide.
We are looking for an Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and is passionate about developing highly reliable and performant software systems.
This is a full-stack engineering role involving work across various areas, primarily microservice development in Java, interaction with MongoDB, and UI development in Angular or React. Familiarity with distributed services, testing, system monitoring, reporting, and the SDLC process is required.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a top-tier team building an exciting new platform for PWM Alternatives. The team collaborates with stakeholders including the ultra-high net worth alternative capital markets team, product & operations teams, and engineering teams across divisions to evolve the platform.
