Job summary

Thales Crawley is offering a 3.5-year Level 6 Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship in Software Engineering. Based in Crawley, you will study at Exeter University while gaining hands-on experience in software development, requirements management and engineering practices.

You will work in a software engineering team, with exposure to industry-standard languages and AI/data analytics concepts, and a route to a permanent role after completion.

Qualifications

• Three A Levels Grade B or above or equivalent
• BTEC Extended Diploma (DDM) or T Level (Merit) or Level 4 Digital Apprenticeship
• Minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above including English and Maths

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions in C++ and Java
• Work in a multi-disciplined agile environment
• Support requirements management and formal documentation
• Develop secure, quality software within timescales and budget
• Apply maths and domain knowledge to real-world aerospace/defence problems
