What you'll do:

As a Software Engineer - Data & Analytics Applications, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering robust applications that power Fitch’s global operations. You’ll work across Java, Python, and React, contributing to both frontend and backend systems. Other responsibilities:

  1. Support the development of full-stack applications using Java, REACT, and Python.
  2. Assist in the architecture, design, and development of applications to ensure robustness, scalability, and maintainability.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of software solutions.
  4. Contribute to the software engineering functional area by adhering to established tools, technologies, standards, and ways of working.
  5. Participate in Agile development processes to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  6. Assist in managing multiple projects to ensure timely delivery within scope and timelines.

What you bring:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 5 years of experience in software engineering.
  3. Good knowledge of Java, REACT, and Python, and related technologies.
  4. Understanding of software development principles and practices.
  5. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  8. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes / EKS-based container orchestration).
