Job Description:

An Investment Bank, a leading player in the FX Banking sector, is seeking a Java Software Engineer to work on a Front Office FX Algo trading platform that offers a full suite of E-Trading applications for clients and internal users.

This role involves collaborating with trading, front office, and research teams within a small team to develop and maintain low-latency pricing and connectivity systems, focusing on FX and forward pricing engines, and integrating the latest low-latency technologies and architectures.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Strong Java development skills, including multi-threading experience.
• Experience in an E-Trading environment and/or high-performance/low-latency development.
• Motivation to work closely with traders and quants.
• A degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous investment banking experience, preferably in a Front Office team.
• Willingness to work three days per week in the office.

Desired skills include Java, low latency development, EFX rates, equities, threading, application programming, and front office experience.
