  • Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Gain skills and experience across software engineering, including design, integration, and testing.
  • Work as part of a team during parts of the Development Life Cycle.
  • Develop programming skills in Java, C, C++, C#, Python, Raspberry Pi, and/or Arduino.
  • Analyze requirements, design applications, and support configuration management and database development.
  • Engage with internal and external customers and third-party vendors.
  • Develop responsive user interfaces for aerospace applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and back-end developers.
  • Participate in agile practices, code reviews, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Improve code quality, maintainability, delivery, and cost using engineering practices and AI tools.
  • Maintain, support, and improve engineering toolchains used across NPI projects.
  • Perform issue triage, root cause analysis, resolution, and tool enhancement testing.
  • Document configurations, changes, known issues, test evidence, and status updates.
  • Track and deliver software releases on time and identify project improvements.
  • Support digital transformation, automation, and business process optimisation.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards, manage digital reporting tools and web apps, and support implementation of new digital tools.
  • Track digital transformation projects and contribute to data analytics strategy.
  • Receive coaching, mentoring, structured goals, and responsibility for placement projects.
