Overview

As a Software Engineer, you will join a collaborative crossfunctional team that owns the full technology stack for a flagship SaaS product, including an ASP.NET web app, a .NET MAUI mobile app, and the backend APIs and services that support them. You’ll play a key role in enhancing and maintaining the current generation of the platform while contributing to the design and development of the next generation, built with modern web/mobile technologies and DevOps best practices. You have the opportunity to work in a role where you will be involved in the full production lifecycle of products, providing valued input and contributions from concept/design stage though to production and deployment without having to delegate to third parties. You will be immersed in a fully collaborative environment allowing you to pick up further knowledge and expertise from like minded engineers with long tenures within the business. The role has been created on the back of recent promotions within the team which demonstrates the strong company culture of training/development for its employees who you will collaborate daily with, working as part of a high skilled and supportive team.

Responsibilities
  • Owns the full technology stack for a flagship SaaS product, including an ASP.NET web app, a .NET MAUI mobile app, and the backend APIs and services that support them.
  • Enhances and maintains the current generation of the platform while contributing to the design and development of the next generation, built with modern web/mobile technologies and DevOps best practices.
  • Participates in the full production lifecycle of products from concept/design through production and deployment, without relying on third parties.
  • Collaborates in a fully collaborative environment with like minded engineers with long tenures within the business.
  • Works within a culture that emphasizes training and development, collaborating daily with a high skilled and supportive team.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in C#/.NET for web and backend development.
  • Experience with ASP.NET (MVC/Web API); knowledge of MAUI or Xamarin for mobile apps is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and RESTful API design.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar), and unit/integration testing frameworks.
  • Comfortable working in a team-based, Agile development environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills
  • Exposure to or enthusiasm for Flutter and/or TypeScript (Node.js, React, or similar).
  • Experience with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with containerisation (Docker) and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Understanding of DevOps culture and practices, including monitoring and observability tools.
  • Interest in contributing to technical architecture, code quality, and team processes.
