Software Engineer

Exciting NEW position in Bristol for a talented and motivated Embedded Software Engineer, to join a global wireless company developing physical layer solutions for 4G and 5G products. I am seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with 4+ years proven C/C++ embedded, real-time Linux expertise. Ideally, the successful Embedded Software Engineer will have experience in wireless communications systems and concepts. This role will be part of the PHY Software team, and the Embedded Software Engineer needs to be a strong all-rounder with a particular focus on validation, system level, and lab-based activities such as:

1. Developing and maintaining complex test tools and automation frameworks.
2. Building and maintaining end-to-end setups, including radios, RF test equipment, and handsets.
3. Driving the system integration of new features.
4. Creating and executing test plans.
