A leading international laboratory group is looking for a Software Engineer with full stack development experience to enhance their Forensics division. Eurofins Forensic Services (EFS) laboratories are among the most advanced analytical facilities in Europe, providing comprehensive forensic testing solutions to police forces, legal, and criminal justice organizations throughout the UK and Europe.
We are seeking a software engineer with full stack experience in application development to contribute to a transformative roadmap across our Forensics divisions in the UK and Europe. As part of our team, you will collaborate with developers, testers, and the product owner to design and implement technical solutions that support our product development goals. This role is remote, with optional attendance at meetups in Birmingham and Tamworth as needed.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
What you will be doing
Ideal candidates will have experience in the full software development lifecycle within an agile environment, including story estimation, backlog grooming, and planning. You should have practical experience building scalable, well-documented APIs and front-end SPA frameworks. Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, GIT, and SQL Server Management Studio / Azure Data Studio is essential.
Due to the sensitive nature of this work, security clearance is required. Applicants must have five years of continuous UK residency. Clearance involves police vetting standards (NPPV/3 and SC).
