We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Software Engineer. This position involves modifying existing programs to meet specific requirements, implementing, testing, and coding computer programs. You will also liaise with business users to ensure their needs are met.

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer within the Container Logistics industry, with Terminal Operating System experience, who possesses strong knowledge of .Net and cloud and web development technologies. Knowledge of Python is advantageous. This is a great opportunity to grow your career within a rapidly expanding company.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours/week

Contract: Permanent

How you will contribute

• Design, implement, and test software systems to ensure operational efficiency at DP World UK Ports and Terminals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Utilize containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for deploying, managing, and scaling applications.
• Conduct system testing before deployment and help build relevant test environments.
• Maintain and document technical designs, requirements, architecture, and user manuals.
• Support continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines.

What you will bring

• Strong knowledge of .Net
• Knowledge of Python (advantageous)
• Minimum 3 years of Software Engineering experience
• Experience in designing, implementing, and testing software systems for operational efficiency
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and interpret business needs into technical solutions
