- Position: Software Engineer
- Salary: up to £70,000
- Location: Heathfield
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Benefits: 20% annual bonus, pension, company events, parking, 24 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, flexible working hours
My client has a great opportunity for a hands-on automation Software Engineer with experience of programming controls for aerodynamic test equipment for leading companies around the world.
Job duties of the Software Engineer are to:
- Work with the engineering team to produce state of the art test and robotic equipment
- Use your experience of C++/C# to produce servo motors and motion controls
- Interpret various electrical drawings/documents
- Fault-finding and problem-solving
Skills and experience required for the Software Engineer are:
- Experience of automation, programming drives and precision engineering
- Engineering degree
- Knowledge of engineering lifecycle and business process
- Knowledge of PLC software would be an advantage
