Job description

  • Position: Software Engineer
  • Salary: up to £70,000
  • Location: Heathfield
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
  • Benefits: 20% annual bonus, pension, company events, parking, 24 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, flexible working hours

My client has a great opportunity for a hands-on automation Software Engineer with experience of programming controls for aerodynamic test equipment for leading companies around the world.

Job duties of the Software Engineer are to:

  • Work with the engineering team to produce state of the art test and robotic equipment
  • Use your experience of C++/C# to produce servo motors and motion controls
  • Interpret various electrical drawings/documents
  • Fault-finding and problem-solving

Skills and experience required for the Software Engineer are:

  • Experience of automation, programming drives and precision engineering
  • Engineering degree
  • Knowledge of engineering lifecycle and business process
  • Knowledge of PLC software would be an advantage
