Job summary

Fluro in London seeks a Compliance Manager to support the delivery of its compliance framework, focusing on practical regulatory advice and day-to-day activities within a hybrid setup.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will apply regulation to real business use cases, run the annual monitoring plan, and foster a customer‑focused approach in the credit industry.

Qualifications

• Solid FCA-regulated financial services compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK rules: Consumer Duty, SMCR, CONC and DISP.
• Ability to provide clear, practical regulatory advice and challenge.
• Experience with compliance monitoring, outcomes testing, and remediation tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Cross-functionally deliver pragmatic compliance advice and ensure product/service changes meet FCA rules.
• Conduct horizon scanning and provide practical advice on new regulations.
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear internal policies.
• Champion customer-focused culture and advise on Consumer Duty.
• Act as a critical friend to ensure the compliance team is seen as a trusted partner.
• Conduct monitoring and testing, escalate findings, track remediation.

Compliance Manager

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, this person will play a key role in the delivery of Fluro's compliance framework, with a strong focus on providing hands‑on regulatory and compliance advice to the business alongside maintenance of the day-to-day compliance activities including delivery of the annual compliance monitoring plan. This role will suit someone that is comfortable applying their knowledge of regulation to real business use‑cases, who can think creatively and is eager to support the business in the delivery of its mission to create a lasting, positive change in the credit industry

Skills

Need to haves:

• Solid compliance experience gained within an FCA-regulated financial services firm (consumer credit or fintech experience an advantage)
• Good working knowledge of the UK regulatory framework, including Consumer Duty, SMCR, CONC and DISP
• Ability to provide clear, practical regulatory advice and constructive challenge to the business
• Experience conducting compliance monitoring and outcomes testing, and tracking remediation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail

Nice to haves:

• Experience with SMCR administration (certifications, fitness and propriety assessments)
• Exposure to financial crime frameworks (e.g. SAR review, MLRO support)
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g. ICA Certificate/Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance
