The ideal candidate will have experience with high-throughput, low-latency systems, leading technically by example, and aligning work with strategic goals while managing short-term initiatives. Responsibilities include estimating and breaking down business requirements into user stories, demonstrating architectural knowledge at product and code levels. As the senior developer in the team, mentoring and coaching responsibilities are also expected.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and develop modules or components, including entire products, with expertise in areas such as networks, operating systems, cybersecurity, databases, or applications.
• Manage people directly, including staffing and performance development, utilizing deep technical knowledge and analytical skills.
• Understand best practices and market differentiation factors.
• Propose solutions outside set parameters to address complex manufacturing processes, using technical experience and external sources for decision-making.
• Mentor colleagues, lead small projects, and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Skills & Experience:

• Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Embedded Software Development, with a qualification comparable to a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in AWS Serverless Stack, Java 17+ (Spring, JPA, JUnit), Node.js (TypeScript/JavaScript), and testing frameworks like Cucumber.
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, Fargate, API Gateway), CloudWatch, Shell Scripting, AWS CodeBuild, GitHub, and SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate technical content effectively to diverse audiences.
