Role Overview:

Our client, a leading UK Cybersecurity consultancy, is currently in search of a Java Developer to help nations, governments, and businesses around the world defend themselves against cybercrime and reduce their risk in the connected world.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain Java applications.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
3. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
4. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
5. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Java Developer.
2. Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
3. Knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
4. Understanding of Agile methodologies.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
