Job summary

Cammach is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Aberdeen-based team on a permanent staff basis. You will design, develop, and maintain software for subsea equipment, collaborate with engineers and departments, and ensure successful project delivery.

The role involves testing, debugging, and preparing technical reports and user manuals. A strong background in Java, C++, Python and a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required.

ROLE

• Conduct tests to identify and fix bugs, ensuring the software is functional and robust
• Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and departments to ensure seamless project execution
• Prepare technical reports, software specifications, and user manuals
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and programming languages
