Job Title: Software Development Trainer (Level 4 Apprenticeships)

Location - Fully remote

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Software Development Trainer to join a rapidly growing Digital Apprenticeship provider.

You will deliver training to Level 4 Software apprentices, guiding them through practical, real-world learning that enhances their confidence and skills in full-stack development.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Deliver training sessions and modules to Level 4 Software Development apprentices, covering front-end and back-end development.
  • Teach core programming concepts using Java and related languages.
  • Assist learners in understanding the software development lifecycle, debugging, testing, version control, and deployment.
  • Maintain your technical skills to stay current with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with curriculum developers to refine course content based on feedback and industry trends.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience delivering software development training in Apprenticeships, Bootcamps, FE, or HE settings (Trainer, Instructor, Coach, Teacher, Lecturer, Tutor, Training Consultant, Mentor, Educator).
  • Hands-on experience with Java or similar programming languages.
  • Good understanding of full-stack development, including front-end frameworks, databases, APIs, and DevOps tools.
  • Knowledge or experience with AWS is a plus (not essential).
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly.
  • A passion for helping individuals develop their skills and careers.

This is a fully remote position with a salary range of £45,000 - £50,000, negotiable based on experience.
