A leading digital apprenticeship provider is looking for a Software Development Trainer to deliver training for Level 4 Software apprentices. This fully remote role involves teaching programming concepts and guiding apprentices through real-world software development practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in training and a strong grasp of full-stack development, including Java and related technologies.

Job Title: Software Development Trainer (Level 4 Apprenticeships)

Location - Fully remote

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Software Development Trainer to join a rapidly growing Digital Apprenticeship provider.

You will deliver training to Level 4 Software apprentices, guiding them through practical, real-world learning to build confidence and skills in full-stack development.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Deliver various training sessions and modules to Level 4 Software Development apprentices, covering front-end and back-end development.
2. Teach core programming concepts using Java and related languages.
3. Assist learners in understanding the software development lifecycle, debugging, testing, version control, and deployment.
4. Maintain current technical skills and stay aligned with industry best practices.
5. Collaborate with curriculum developers to enhance course content based on learner feedback and industry trends.

What We're Looking For

• Experience delivering software development training in Apprenticeships, Bootcamps, FE, or HE settings (Trainer, Instructor, Coach, Teacher, Lecturer, Tutor, Training Consultant, Mentor, Educator).
• Hands-on experience with Java or similar programming languages.
• Good understanding of full-stack development, including front-end frameworks, databases, APIs, and DevOps tools.
• Knowledge or experience with AWS is a plus but not essential.
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly.
• A passion for helping individuals develop their skills and careers.

This is a fully remote position with a salary range of £45,000 - £50,000, negotiable based on experience.
