Job Description:

We are working with a leading national training provider delivering IT & Digital apprenticeships, recruitment, and training. With over 20 years of experience, they specialise in bridging the digital skills gap and supporting thousands of learners each year.

The role involves delivering Apprenticeships and Skills Bootcamps as a Software Development Technical Trainer to learners starting their careers as Software Developers. The training is remote, instructor-led via Microsoft Teams, with mentoring responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging technical training in Software Development via remote sessions
• Support learners in developing their technical and professional skills
• Collaborate with Curriculum, IQA, and Service Delivery teams to improve training methodologies
• Monitor learner progress and provide feedback
• Keep course materials current with industry trends

Required Technical Skills and Qualifications:

• Passion for teaching and mentoring in Software Development
• Strong industry experience in software development
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTS, or Level 3/4 Teaching Qualification) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
• Level 3 Assessors qualification or willingness to work towards it
• Maths & English Level 2 (GCSE A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent)
• Degree or equivalent qualifications in Software Development
