A leading company in emergency medical technology is seeking a Software Development Lead to drive embedded software development. Bridgefield Capital has announced the acquisition of Philips’ Emergency Care business, which includes leading brands and products such as HeartStart AEDs, Intrepid, DFM100 monitor defibrillators, Tempus monitor and ALS systems, and Corsium and ECI informatics solutions. The transaction is expected to close at the end of 2025.
Building on a 40+ year legacy of growth and innovation in emergency medical technology, the Emergency Care business aims to continue its mission of saving lives, reducing healthcare costs, and advancing resuscitation science, serving public access AED, EMS, military, and hospital markets.
As part of an agile organization with dedicated resources, you will have opportunities to be part of the new company formation, grow professionally and personally, and make a significant impact in the acute care space, affecting consumers, patients, and healthcare workers relying on these life-saving solutions.
We value collaboration and in-person work at least 3 days per week at our Farnborough, Hampshire office.
