Job summary

Insight, a London-based technology company, is seeking a senior test/quality engineer to advance ML data pipelines and AI infrastructure validation. You will design high-performance tools, automate platform tests, and contribute to scalable, observable systems.

You will collaborate across SRE, MLOps, and software teams, leveraging Python, Terraform, and cloud-native practices to raise reliability and quality across the ML platform stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, including large-scale backend systems or platform engineering.
• Expert in Python with strong OOP, testing frameworks, and automation libraries.
• Experience building or validating platform infrastructure with CI/CD systems like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Solid experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, Step Functions, CloudWatch).
• Proficient in infrastructure as code using Terraform to manage and provision cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices: code quality, reliability, performance, observability.
