Role Overview: As a Software Engineer in the Alexa Devices team, you will develop features that provide innovative speech-backed visuals on Echo Show and similar devices. Your responsibilities include maintaining and developing new systems, collaborating with Amazon and third-party service and device teams, and ensuring low-latency, reliable service delivery at Amazon scale. You may work on device frameworks, APIs, and more.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in system design or architecture, focusing on reliability and scaling.
• 3+ years supporting Video Games Industry development, release, or live operations.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
