Job summary

Amazon is seeking a software professional to contribute to large-scale cloud storage and distributed systems. You will design, implement, and deliver high-quality software in a distributed environment, collaborating across teams to bring innovative products to market.

Responsibilities include writing maintainable code, adhering to SDLC best practices, and participating in agile development cycles to deliver features efficiently and reliably.

Qualifications

• Professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#.
• Understanding of SDLC best practices (coding standards, code reviews, CI/CD, testing).

Key Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced cross‑disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience (non‑internship) in professional software development
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object‑oriented design
• Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
