Software Development Engineer Oxfordshire, England Initial 12 Daily Rate Contract Contract due to start August/September

Overview:
Our client in the biotech sector is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to support the design and delivery of solutions across their manufacturing systems landscape. This role focuses on building and integrating systems that interface between core enterprise platforms (ERP, LIMS, MES, etc.) and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and design technical solutions across manufacturing systems.
• 
  Develop, test, and deploy components (reports, interfaces, etc.) between platforms such as SAP, LIMS, and Quality Systems.
• 
  Integrate data from diverse sources including APIs, databases, and third-party systems.
• 
  Deliver user-friendly web applications and interfaces with a focus on high performance and clean UI/UX.
• 
  Conduct debugging and testing to ensure application stability and compliance.
• 
  Support documentation and validation activities in a GxP-regulated environment.

Required Skills:

• 
  5+ years of software development experience in regulated or manufacturing settings.
• 
  Strong backend and frontend development skills with experience in:
• 
  C#, VB.Net, GoLang, Dart, GraphQL
• 
  Front-end frameworks (Flutter, AngularJS, ReactJS)
• 
  API development and system integrations
• 
  Experience with SQL databases, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• 
  Familiarity with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Grafana, Tableau).
• 
  Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  Nice to Have:
  • 
    Exposure to MES platforms and manufacturing system integrations.
  • 
    Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, containerized deployments, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • 
    Understanding of FDA validation and CSV processes.
  • 
    Knowledge of Industry 4.0, IIoT, or Unified Namespace concepts.
