Job summary

polkadotfrog Limited is seeking an experienced Software Developer for a hybrid role in Ipswich, offering a circa £40,000 base with up to 10% annual bonus. The position is permanent and full-time, with hybrid working after probation and opportunities for ongoing learning and Microsoft certifications.

You will design, develop, maintain data platforms, create Power BI dashboards, and integrate systems using REST APIs, while collaborating with stakeholders to improve digital capabilities.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience in software or application development.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and BI reporting.
• Strong SQL Server, data modelling and data reporting skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into user-friendly solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain business applications and data platforms.
• Create Power BI reports and dashboards from SQL data models.
• Develop integrations using REST APIs and third-party systems.
• Improve and modernise existing applications through refactoring and testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to turn requirements into solutions.
