Job Description:

Team: Order Gateway

The Order Gateway team develops and maintains Order Entry Gateways that connect to various venues for placing orders and receiving trades through internal strategies. We are seeking an Integrator to join our team. The successful candidate will own the delivery of new venues and features for our gateway connectivity, manage migrations and deployments, and ensure our systems meet business requirements and enable our strategies to access new venues or utilize new features on existing flows.

Position Overview:

1. Manage delivery of strategic initiatives in order entry and drop copy flows, overseeing projects from inception to completion.
2. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to scope new projects both technically and business-wise.
3. Gather and refine requirements for venue onboarding from internal and external stakeholders, and coordinate implementation from start to finish.
4. Draft and review technical documentation such as exchange specifications and migration plans.
5. Manage migrations, including hardware upgrades and transitioning applications to new platforms.
6. Identify and resolve blockers affecting development teams, especially external dependencies.
7. Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
8. Coordinate communication with external vendors, exchanges, and providers to support the firm's interests.
9. Identify and address efficiency gaps within the team.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a systems integrator with exposure to Exchange Connectivity.
3. Proficiency in Linux OS.
4. Proficiency in FIX protocol.
5. Good understanding of the Trade Life Cycle.
6. Experience with business-driven software integration, application lifecycle management, change, and release management.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to articulate concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
9. Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
10. Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Nice to have:

1. Project management or technical business analyst experience.
2. Proficiency in C++ or Python.
3. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
4. Knowledge of financial asset classes.
