A global industry leader is urgently seeking a .Net Developer for a temporary contract in Ballymena. This role involves designing and maintaining RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core while integrating various third-party services. Ideal candidates will have proficiency in C# and .NET 8/9, along with hands-on experience in API development. The position requires on-site work with potential for some remote flexibility, starting ASAP for a duration of 3 to 4 months.

The Role

As .Net Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of RESTful APIs while integrating with a range of third-party services. You will work alongside a collaborative IT team, and will apply best practices such as Clean Architecture and CQRS to deliver robust, maintainable solutions that power business-critical systems. You will design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API. This role will also enhance existing APIs to meet evolving business needs. You will integrate back-end systems with services such as DHL, Yooz, Salesforce, and others. You will also contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and CI/CD pipelines.

The Person / Qualifications

• Solid proficiency in C# and .NET 8/9.
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Solid understanding of Entity Framework Core and relational databases.
• Experience with RESTful API integrations and third-party services; ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Experience with unit testing or TDD would be nice-to-have.

• Salary: Competitive (paid as a rate per hour for the duration of the temporary contract)
• Location: Client is located in Ballymena; on-site working is required (some flexibility regarding working from home)
