Job description

Job Title: Software Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to help us develop the next generation of data analysis tools and infrastructure for our Award-Winning Accident Repair Network. Our mission is to create tools and technology that enable our teams to restore our customers' vehicles efficiently. The candidate will report to our Development Team Manager, assist with our bespoke IT system, Evolve, and play a vital role in our growth and success.

As a Software Developer, you will be instrumental in developing our in-house software, Evolve, hosted in a cloud environment. You will work closely with our internal development team and our partner organization's team. Your focus will be on enhancing Solus by developing within the Microsoft stack in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop new products and features from start to finish.
  2. Build strong relationships with third-party suppliers and partners to maximize business outcomes.
  3. Work across various technologies, including web, mobile apps, APIs, backend, and databases hosted within Azure.
  4. Address delivery obstacles by collaborating with the Product Owner and adhering to policies and guidelines.
  5. Embody agile values, principles, and practices, serving as a role model.
  6. Provide technical guidance on Evolve’s design and ensure the system’s UI/UX meets requirements.
  7. Engage with insurers and other industries to share knowledge; attend industry events and forums.
