Overview

Hybrid based with 50% at our Stansted office / 50% remote.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to help us build the next generation of data analysis tools and infrastructure for our Award-Winning Accident Repair Network. Our mission is to develop the tools and technology that enable our teams to get our customers back to normal. The candidate will report to our Development Team Manager, assisting with our bespoke award-winning IT system Evolve. This role is fundamental to our growth and success.

Responsibilities

As a Software Developer, you will play a key role in developing our in-house software, Evolve, hosted in a cloud environment. You will collaborate closely with both our internal and partner development teams. Your focus will be on improving the efficiency and capabilities of Solus by developing on the Microsoft stack in an Agile manner.

  • Develop new products and features end-to-end.
  • Build good working relationships with relevant third-party suppliers or partners to maximise business outcomes.
  • Work across a wide range of technologies, including web, mobile apps, API, backend, and databases, currently hosted within Azure.
  • Remove delivery impediments by aligning with the Product Owner and following policies and guidelines.
  • Live agile values, principles, and approaches. Be a role model.
  • Provide technical guidance on Evolve's design and ensure the system's UI/UX meets requirements.
  • Seek exposure to insurers and other industries to share learning; attend industry events and forums.
