A Glasgow based Software Company are on the look out for an experienced Java Developer to join one of their talented squads.

The company have been operating successfully for over 40 years and have seen massive growth, with offices in Scotland and England. They are highly respected in their field, consistently delivering bespoke solutions and services to their clients that are spread across the whole of the UK.

You’d be joining one of their Agile squads which is comprised of 4 Developers, a Software Tester and a Scrum Master. Some of their employees have been with the company for over 10 years (their retention is great here which is a massive testament to the company culture).

You’ll gain exposure to the whole SDLC, working on the organisations core products and solutions. Most of your day to day will be spent working in the back end with Java and Spring.

You’ll have commercial experience with the following;
** Modern Java
** Spring
** Front End Exposure (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS)

Experience with the following would definitely get you some bonus points;
** Microservices
** CI/CD Development

Being an effective communicator is also equally as imortant for the company.

They’re based in Glasgow and expect you to visit the office a few times a month. The salary on offer for this role is up to £45k on top of a good list of benefits (private health care, 31 days of annual leave, flexible working).
