Job summary

Fortis Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Software Developer to join a multidisciplinary engineering environment working across industrial systems, IoT, automotive technology and connected products. You’ll contribute across the full software lifecycle, designing, coding and testing in C#/.NET, with opportunities to work on desktop, backend and cloud-connected applications using AWS.

The role emphasizes real‑world products and collaborative problem solving within a fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of commercial C# development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET 4 through 10 and object-oriented design.
• Experience developing desktop, backend or service-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Contributing across the full software development lifecycle.
• Designing and developing applications and services using C# and .NET (4 through 10).
• Building desktop, backend and cloud-connected applications.
• Applying strong object-oriented design principles.
• Writing clean, maintainable and scalable code.
• Producing clear technical documentation for design, testing and support.
• Using software design patterns where appropriate.
• Working with cloud technologies, ideally AWS, including deployment templates and integration activities.
• Developing and executing unit, integration and system tests.
• Participating in code reviews and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborating with electronics engineers and other technical specialists.
• Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Supporting continuous improvement of development tools, processes and methodologies.
