The Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineering Technical Specialist to join our team of experts. You will contribute to our software engineering efforts and develop cutting-edge products in domains such as Security, Systems, Databases, Networking Solutions, and more. You will demonstrate leadership through your technical expertise, guidance, and team collaboration.

Effective communication and collaboration are valued at Kyndryl. You will be able to clearly communicate complex technical and business concepts to customers and team members, identify and frame problems, gather and analyze information, and make timely decisions. Your goal is to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and delivery of services using technology and technical methodologies.

You will drive the design, development, integration, and deployment of scalable distributed software, working closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, and partner teams to deliver high-quality products within an agile lifecycle. You will groom features and user stories, estimate efforts, identify risks, and communicate them to stakeholders. Maintaining and reducing technical debt, vulnerabilities, and keeping third-party components current are also part of your responsibilities.

You will coach and mentor engineers in designing and implementing highly available, secure, distributed software in scalable architectures. Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 4+ years in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based applications.
