Description

The Intelligence Carry-On Program (ICOP) is part of the Navy Service component of the Department of Defense (DoD) Distributed Common Ground System - Navy (DCGS-N) Family of Systems, providing Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) processing, exploitation, and dissemination capabilities to Unit Level platforms and ashore forces. The Software Engineer will be a member of the ICOP team focusing on developing services and applications in a DevSecOps environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with successful software development, testing, and sustainment.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software applications
• Writing clean, efficient, and scalable reusable code
• Participating in code reviews and architectural decisions
• Conducting research for system decomposition and new system design
• Recommending automated approaches for system administration and integration tasks

Requirements

• Must possess an active Secret clearance
• Minimum of 5+ years of software development experience
• Coding experience in Java, C++, C#, HTML5, or Python
• Experience with RESTful APIs development/integration
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, BitBucket or similar)
• Strong experience with multi-threaded, asynchronous, or event-driven code
• Experience with source control (Git or SVN)
• Must hold or be able to obtain a DoDM 8140.03 IAT II certification within six months

Desired Skills

• Current DoDM 8140.03 IAT II certification or ability to obtain within six months

Clearance Information

U.S. citizenship and a U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level with Top Secret / SCI eligibility are required.
