Software Developer

Software Developer required for a manufacturer of HGV bodywork based in Winsford. This will involve working in conjunction with an external development team to develop additional functionality for an ERP system and developing bespoke applications that interface with an ERP system.

Software Developer Position Overview

• As part of the IT Team, you will be involved in the full project life cycle, including planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementing, and maintenance.
• Ensure code conforms to established methodologies and standards. Maintain the integrity and security of company systems and data.
• Create and maintain system documentation and user training materials.
• Assisting in infrastructure projects and day-to-day running of the IT estate.

Software Developer Position Requirements

• Educated to degree level in a relevant field, or able to demonstrate equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum of two years' experience developing in a .Net framework using C#.
• Experience of developing and deploying web applications using Azure.
• Experience of using SQL Server.
• Experience of using version control systems.
• Experience of working in Azure DevOps would be desirable.

Software Developer Position Remuneration

• 39 hours per week Monday - Friday, your hours of work will be starting no earlier than 7.30am and no later than 8.30am each day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day. Monday to Thursday you will work an 8-hour day (excluding lunch) and Fridays you will work a 7-hour day (excluding lunch).
