You'll play a key role in shaping and supporting applications, databases, and systems that keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

This isn't a narrow coding role - you'll work across multiple projects, using different technologies depending on the challenge at hand. If you like problem-solving, collaborating with colleagues, and seeing your solutions make a real impact, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse existing systems and suggest practical improvements
• Work closely with analysts, designers, and business users to create tailored solutions
• Write clean, efficient code and produce clear technical specifications
• Test and implement systems in real-world environments
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Create user guides and deliver training when required

Key Requirements:

• Strong SQL skills, ideally including SSRS, SQL Server 2016, and SQL Integration Service
• Proficiency with MS Access, MS Excel (inc. VBA), and Office automation
• Experience with Visual Studio (.NET, ASP.NET, C#)
• Knowledge of Windows Server environments () and IIS
• Familiarity with web portals (HTTPS)
• Background in IT project delivery and multi-project environments
• Bonus: exposure to AI-based solutions in a technical or scientific setting

Qualifications

• A relevant degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience
• MPPV clearance (Client will fund)
