Ideally based within commuting distance of Swansea; however, remote work may be considered if needed.

Summary

Development and maintenance of the company's products using frontend and/or backend technologies.

Responsibilities

• Participating in a cross-functional team with frontend, backend, and full stack developers, testers, business analysts, project managers, and product owners.
• Estimating and delivering high-quality software solutions iteratively in sprints.
• Ensuring high-quality product delivery through close collaboration and reviews, developing to coding standards.

Experience Needed

• Experience designing and developing complex web applications
• In-depth knowledge of C# ASP.NET MVC development
• Understanding of software development best practices and OO design patterns
• Experience writing unit tests
• Familiar with using version control systems (GIT & Azure)
• In-depth knowledge of JQuery and AJAX
• Good knowledge of SQL Server databases and SQL queries

Nice to Have's

• TDD, NUnit, and Rhino Mocks
• UI automation testing
• GIT or Azure and Branch-per-Feature strategies
• CI services such as TeamCity
• Win32 API and P/Invoke
• Appreciation of UX design
