About

My client is a prestigious government organisation in London, seeking a skilled Software Developer to support the development of an in-house platform as part of its digital transformation journey. The successful candidate will work within a small, agile team to build and enhance applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.

Contract Details
  • Length: 6 months
  • Location: London (remote with occasional office visits as needed)
  • IR35: In Scope
  • Pay Rate: £650 per day
  • Security Clearance: SC Cleared
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Canvas and Power Apps applications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative delivery
  • Ensure solutions align with GDS (Government Digital Service) standards
  • Support the integration of applications with existing systems and data sources
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in developing Canvas and Power Apps
  • Strong coding skills within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and GDS delivery approaches
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with Power Automate, Dataverse, and other Microsoft 365 tools
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and data protection principles
  • Previous experience in public sector or government projects
