Job summary

Synergi Tech is seeking a Software Developer to join our UK team. You will work primarily with Laravel, PHP, MySQL, and Vue.js, building bespoke applications and integrating APIs. You’ll design scalable architectures, write clean code, and participate in reviews to continually improve development practices.

You’ll collaborate with clients and team members to deliver robust solutions, stay current with new technologies, and contribute to performance optimisations across the stack.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Laravel framework and PHP development.
• Experience with MySQL database design and optimisation.
• Solid understanding of Vue.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

About The Role

You'll work primarily with our core technology stack of Laravel, PHP, MySQL, and Vue.js, whilst also having the opportunity to explore emerging technologies and contribute to diverse projects.

Whether you're building a sophisticated web application, integrating third-party APIs, or optimising database performance, you'll be making a real impact on businesses across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain bespoke software applications using Laravel, PHP, and MySQL

Whilst not essential, experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial:

• Experience with other programming languages (Python, Node.js, etc.)
• Mobile application development (iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter)
• AI and machine learning integration experience
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of Docker and containerisation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Understanding of software testing and TDD principles
• Previous experience in an Agile development environment
