We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer to help us build the next generation of data analysis tools and infrastructure for our Award-Winning Accident Repair Network. Our mission is to develop the tools and technology that enable our teams to get our customers back to normal.

Our Software Developers will report to our Product Owner, assisting with our bespoke award-winning IT system Evolve. This role is fundamental to our growth and success, requiring analysis and deep subject matter expertise, facilitating collaboration using the product knowledge acquired.

Responsibilities

As our Solus Software Developer, you will:

  • Develop new products and features end to end.
  • Build strong relationships with relevant third-party suppliers or partners to maximize business outcomes.
  • Work across various technologies, including web, mobile apps, API, backend, and databases hosted within Azure.
  • Collaborate with the team to remove impediments to delivery, following policies, processes, and guidelines, with input from the product owner responsible for the product backlog.
  • Engage with insurers and other industries to share learning; attend industry events and forums.

This role suits someone with a structured methodology and a desire to lead change.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Agile values, principles, approaches, and the Scrum framework.
  • Advocate for code quality, clean code, and best practices.
  • Experience with test-driven development (unit testing, mocking, integration testing).
  • Understanding of DevOps practices (CI & CD).
  • Familiarity with Cloud environments, specifically Azure.
