Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. seeks SDE interns to solve real customer problems using modern tech. You’ll own code from design to deployment, work on cloud-native microservices, and influence millions of customers.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields at time of application.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Java or Perl.
• Knowledge of CS fundamentals including OOP, OS, algorithms, data structures and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to design, build, and operate innovative products and services.
• Design and develop scalable solutions using cloud-native architectures and microservices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Build and maintain resilient distributed systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective.
• Leverage GenAI and AI-powered tools to boost developer productivity.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and design patterns.
• Demonstrate operational excellence through monitoring, troubleshooting, andProduction issue resolution.
