We're looking for individuals who are excited by the idea of creating new products, features, and services from scratch while managing ambiguity and the pace of a company whose ship cycles are
measured in weeks, not years.

As part of our Offers Tech team, you'll architect the intelligent services that power content discovery and personalization for 200+ million Prime members globally. You'll build the offer vending services that select the best offer for our customers, the title selection service that determines what shows, movies that our customer sees, directly influencing how the world discovers and enjoys entertainment. Your code will handle millions of requests per second while enabling new business models like channel bundles and subscription-gated content.

Key job responsibilities
• Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring to market innovative products and services.
• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
• Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high quality software.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Experience in professional, non-internship software development
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
