Job description

Software Delivery Manager | Birmingham / Hybrid | £600/day | Inside IR35 | 6 month Contract

We’re looking for a Software Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a major new customer-facing online platform. In this role, you’ll be working closely with a leading technology consultancy and a high-profile end client to deliver a greenfield product build, from concept to launch.

This is a critical delivery leadership role, requiring strong coordination across offshore development teams, integration with existing ERP systems via APIs, and hands-on management of Agile processes and CI/CD pipelines.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Manage the full software delivery lifecycle of a new digital platform, through to go-live Act as the primary delivery lead between the consultancy and the client, ensuring transparency and alignment at all levels Coordinate remote and offshore development teams, ensuring clear prioritisation, efficient workflows, and high delivery standards Oversee API-based integration with the client's ERP systems, working with architects and technical leads to ensure seamless data flow Implement and uphold Agile delivery practices and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines to support rapid iteration and quality control Proactively identify risks, resolve blockers, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope

Key Requirements:

Proven experience managing full-cycle software development projects, ideally from a greenfield build Strong background working in consultancy or client-facing roles Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps culture Experience coordinating remote and offshore development teams Familiarity with ERP systems and API integration (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) Confident communicator who can bridge technical and business conversations

Contract Details:

6 Months Inside IR35 Up to £600 per day Birmingham – 2x a week onsite
