Software Business Analyst

Hays are looking for an IT Business Analyst with Software development lifecycle experience across business applications, CRM, cyber and general in-house applications.

A thorough understanding of the full analysis process:

1. Defining scope
2. Identifying project benefits
3. Developing business cases
4. Requirements for elicitation and management
5. Process optimisation
6. Business change management
7. Requirements traceability to business benefits
8. Input into testing
9. Facilitating user acceptance testing
10. Benefits realisation

Work with the Lead BA/Project Manager to determine the analysis approach to take:

1. Taking ownership of the analysis process
2. Influencing stakeholders and decision-making
3. Facilitate large or complex group discussions
4. Delivering presentations to senior management
5. Identifying and developing initiatives to improve business performance

Skills and experience:

1. Experience as a BA, preferably in Legal, Finance or IT fields
2. A self-motivated professional with personality and enthusiasm for delivering value to the firm
3. Able to produce high-quality documentation and presentation materials, with diagrams where required
4. An ability to identify technical challenges and lead efforts to overcome these
5. Flexible and happy to manage your own time to work on a number of projects simultaneously
6. Direct engagement with stakeholders at all levels

Desirable:

1. Experience of project delivery cycles and methodologies such as Agile
2. Experience of working within a legal organisation
3. Experience of business analysis and large-scale business process change initiatives
4. Experience of working with external suppliers, including offshore development teams
