Job summary

Eden Scott, in partnership with a leading Glasgow-based SaaS organisation, is recruiting an enthusiastic Software Automation Tester to join a growing engineering team. This role focuses on building and enhancing automated testing across web and API layers.

You will embed testing into CI/CD, collaborate with Software Engineers and Product Managers, and shape quality engineering practices across the platform. Hybrid working in Glasgow area is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience testing SaaS or cloud-based applications.
• Hands-on automation testing using Selenium, Playwright or Cypress.
• Strong API testing and automation experience.
• Experience embedding automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agile environments and effective collaboration with stakeholders.

The Role

You will be an experienced Automation Tester who wants to make a real impact on the quality of a rapidly evolving SaaS platform.

As a key member of the Engineering team, you will play a leading role in building and enhancing automated testing capabilities, ensuring the business can continue to innovate while maintaining high levels of quality and reliability.

You will work closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle rather than treating testing as a final stage activity.

This role would suit someone who enjoys getting hands‑on with automation tooling, solving complex technical challenges, and helping to shape how quality engineering is delivered across an organisation.
