About the role
An exciting opportunity to work in a growing, specialist Innovation Reliefs tax team at RSM. The role involves working directly with IT specialists across various businesses at the forefront of technology, within a global professional services firm.
We seek a motivated individual with a background in IT and/or Software Engineering to join our existing Innovation Reliefs team to assist clients in claiming R&D incentives. While our team is experienced in tax reliefs, we welcome specialists in software/IT. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and passion for technology, excellent communication skills for client interactions, and clear writing skills for project descriptions.
Your main responsibility will be to collaborate closely with clients' technical teams across different industries. Leveraging your IT/software background, you will analyze technical aspects of projects and help determine eligibility for R&D tax reliefs.
The candidate should hold a Computer Science or similar degree, with practical experience in software, technology, or R&D roles. Knowledge of UK R&D tax incentives is a plus but not mandatory.
