Job summary

Sopra Steria's Aerospace, Defence and Security business delivers digital solutions to government clients. This role focuses on end-to-end software licence management, procurement, and contractual value assessment in a hybrid Gosport setting.

You will monitor usage, support decision-makers with licence guidance, and ensure compliance across complex licensing environments requiring SC security clearance. Permanent position with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in licensing and supply chain procurement environments.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain SC-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full lifecycle of software licences including procurement, entitlement tracking, renewals and decommissioning.
• Maintaining accurate records of licence ownership and usage.
• Using software asset management tools to monitor consumption and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Reviewing existing contracts to assess value for money.
• Analysing usage trends to recommend consolidation or reallocation of licences.
• Supporting Product Owners with licence management guidance to help them make informed decisions.
