Qualifications

Main Responsibilities
Software Asset / Lifecycle Management (70%)
  • Handle software requests via the IT ticketing system
  • Develop whitelist/blacklist applications
  • Purchase and deploy software
  • Ensure license compliance
  • Manage software license procurement, contracts, renewals, and maintenance
  • Run network scans to identify vulnerabilities (using Lansweeper / Nessus)
  • Collaborate with support teams to troubleshoot vulnerabilities
  • Assist in creating new software packages with the DSM team in Global IT
  • Follow all cyber security policies and report breaches
  • Report service shortcomings and suggest improvements
  • Undertake ad-hoc IT support duties as needed
1st/2nd Line Service Desk Support (30%)
  • Provide technical support via onsite, phone, or email
  • Maintain high customer service standards
  • Own user problems and proactively resolve issues
  • Log and document support calls
  • Resolve hardware/software problems and support user training
  • Escalate complex issues appropriately
  • Arrange external support when necessary
  • Ensure SLA compliance
  • Maintain computer asset inventory
Experience & Qualifications
  • Knowledge of core enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, and applications
  • Previous IT support experience in medium or large organizations
  • Experience in a Multi Domain environment
  • Proficiency with Office 365, Identity Manager, MDM, Build Deployment Solutions
  • Understanding of network concepts
  • Asset Management experience
  • Microsoft Technical Certification
  • ITIL Foundation (preferred)
