Software Asset & Configuration Management Lead

About The Team

The Deliveroo Enterprise Technology team conceives, designs, builds, and sustains the IT services powering Deliveroo’s internal teams globally. We continually drive service improvements and aim to automate processes to enhance customer satisfaction.

The Role

As the SACM Lead, you will set strategies, roadmaps, and delivery plans for IT Asset Management, CMDB, APM, and Data Insights. You will lead the team and contribute as a thought leader within Enterprise Technology. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in our Cannon Street office. You will report to the Head of Service Management.

What You'll Do:

1. Define the strategy, vision, and roadmap for IT Asset Management, CMDB, APM & Data Insights.
2. Lead the team and engage with wider Enterprise Technology leadership.
3. Advocate for optimizing software purchase, deployment, maintenance, utilization, and disposal.
4. Manage improvement programs to mature capabilities and deliver value.
5. Handle complex issues escalated by the team.
6. Identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
7. Manage budgets and forecasts for these capabilities and related software.
8. Collaborate with stakeholders to promote adoption of these capabilities.
9. Build data insights to support decision-making and communicate findings effectively.
10. Ensure adherence to IT asset management policies across teams.
11. Oversee audit activities within these areas.

Requirements:

1. Over 10 years of experience in ITIL Domains of CMDB and ITAM.
2. Experience with ServiceNow, CSDM, and automation.
3. Proven ability to build automation and processes supporting ITIL Domains.
4. Strong team-building and stakeholder management skills.
5. Experience in leading maturity initiatives and presenting to senior leadership.
6. Ability to develop data insights and utilize dashboard tools.
