As this iconic city-centre destination continues to transform, we're looking for a strategic and experienced Soft Services Manager to take the lead.

About the Role

This senior management role places you at the centre of security, cleaning, and customer safety operations. As Head of Soft Services, you'll be the senior point of contact for all security and incident response matters, while also guiding and developing our cleaning operations. You'll lead a team of nearly 90 people (c.45 security, c.45 cleaning), ensuring St. Enoch is safe, secure, spotless, and always delivering an outstanding guest experience. Working closely with the Centre Director, you'll liaise with city stakeholders, emergency services, contractors, and retailers to ensure the highest standards of service, compliance, and professionalism across the board.

  • Collaborate with the Centre Director and liaise with city stakeholders, emergency services, contractors, and retailers to maintain high standards of service, compliance, and professionalism.
Qualifications
  • Has a SIA Licence and proven leadership in large-scale security operations.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams at scale, ideally across security and cleaning.
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety, compliance, and legislation (e.g. Martyn's Law, SIA regulations, COSHH).
  • Confident liaison with police, local authorities, and city-centre stakeholders.
  • Ability to deliver both day-to-day operational leadership and long-term strategic improvements.
  • Excellent people management skills - motivating teams, developing managers, and ensuring KPIs and standards are met.
