Your main responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the delivery of site services, including cleaning, security, catering, waste management, and reception services at the Wallingford site
• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of site services staff, ensuring high performance and professional growth
• Implement and maintain quality standards for all site services, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
• Coordinate with external contractors to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations
• Ensure all site services activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to achieve operational goals
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address site services needs and issues
• Support and implement sustainable practices within site services to minimise environmental impact
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of site services, using KPIs and other metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to site services promptly and effectively
• Provide support and coverage for other sites as required, ensuring consistent service delivery across all locations

For the role of Soft Services Facilities Manager, we’re looking for somebody who has:

• Experience in facilities management
• Supported the development and implementation of incident response plans to handle emergencies and ensure the safety and security of all site users
• Commitment to delivering high-quality site services
• Experience in coordinating with external contractors to ensure quality and compliance
• Thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
