A forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in north Liverpool is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sociology Teacher to join their team from September 2nd, 2025. The ideal candidate will have strong experience and subject knowledge, with a dedication to enhancing students' learning and educational experiences.

Therefore, experience teaching sociology up to KS5 is essential.

Responsibilities include:
  • Planning and delivering high-quality Sociology lessons to KS4 and KS5 students
  • Creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and debate
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, and adapting teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborating with colleagues within the Humanities department and across the wider school
  • Supporting students preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations
